We want to show how to provide children with many pleasant and stimulating impulses, and most of all we want to give to both – parents and their little babies – all lots of laughter and joy. And finally we propose a joint experience and magical, fabulous adventure…

The aim of my workshops is to try out the fisical activities and motions which are directed on reproducibility and persistency. I want to analyse the ability of sustaining the energy of motion, its potenial of continuation and renewal. When we begin from something that gives us resistance we have to look for impulses of freedom and self-consciousness to break throug.’ (Dorota Porowska)

‘The Neanderthal Songs – birth of the language’ – workshop by Sean Palmer and Maciej Maciaszek

Workshops Brak Komentarzy »

How our ancestors communicated? Imagine a situation where there is no language that we know yet, no dry, abstract code, behind which we hide our deepest emotions and the overwhelming need for releasing the primal scream. We come to the point where the body, voice, gesture, grimace, inarticulate sounds, merge into one organic act, to speak the world’s oldest language.
In a series of workshops, initiated originally by Simon Thorne (a leading Welsh composer), we will read a special score, which encourages to spontaneous and open interpretation, but with a certain rhythm and dramturgy.
