Workshops will be built on personal histories derived from memories, associations and dreams. These intimate introspection will became a starting point in the process of building physical intensity.

JEKYLL & HYDE – a performance by couscouskuskus Theatre is the result of stage work of director Klaudiusz Ślusarczyk with three actresses from young generation. Performance is a combination of theater and dance, of body language and women dialogue. The author examines the possibility of unconscious impulses in a human being, which are not so easy to master, and which strongly influence on our relationships with others.

During the workshop we will present a vocal method which allows free and conscious singing.

The main aim of the workshop is to find an organic connection between body, movement and sound.

We will focus on the role of listening in theater action, and on awakening the awareness of the sound space of the stage .

Kuba Pałys – (1981) instrumentalist, graduate of the Jazz and Popular Music faculty. Winner of many festivals. Vocally educateded in Poland, USA and Brazil, under the guidance of outstanding teachers: Dean Kaelin, Wendy Parr, Sonia Lachowolska, Regina Machado, Rafa Barreiros, Andres Martorell, Bartek Caboń. Rotary Club scholarship holder in the Music Faculdade Santa Marcelina  in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Since 2008 played dozens of concerts in Poland, accompanied by Brazilian musicians (Sambosa, Brazylia Śpiewana project, Barbosa Trio, Tó Brandileone).

When the movement can be called a dance? How to improvise? How improvisation turns into structure and forms a choreography? How to learn to dance in sync? We will look for answers to these questions during the workshop with Lara Ward – British dancer and choreographer.

Lara Ward-British choreographer and dancer, graduate of Mark Edward School of European Dance Theatre, worked with Theatre Iolo, Mr. and Mrs. Clark, Doug Comley, Human Beast and Solerference, Ensemble Cymru, Pickled Herring Theatre. Since 2008 associated with Earthfall Dance Company. Lives and works in Cardiff (Wales).

We invite everyone, regardless of the level of advancement or age, to join the acroyoga community. By this workshop we want to create a safe place to explore trust in contact with a partner and simply have fun.

Almuth Kramer (Germany, Berlin) – a teacher of acroyoga (BYV), a masseuse and a clown, studied theater studies in Berlin and Buenos Aires.

Marta Jurkowska (Poland) – began her  first practice of acroyoga in Goa, became an acroyoga teacher in January 2010, practices in Berlin with various yoga and acroyoga teachers and acrobats.

John Moran – an American composer, author and choreographer. Born in Lincoln, Nebraska in 1965, a protégé of composer Philip Glass. He began his career with the debut of his first opera in 1989. His works as a composer and theater artist are unusual. These works are known for specific interaction between sound and movement. Over the last 2 decades, his work has featured performers such as Uma Thurman, Allen Ginsberg, Julia Stiles, and Iggy Pop, at venues like Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, American Repertory Theater, New York Shakespeare Festival / Public Theater and many more internationally. The New York Times frequently referred to Moran as “one of the leading vanguards of American music-theater.”

Welcome to two concerts of music inspired by the culture of Antiquity!

The next generation of musical talents appeared in Lodz!

During a two-weeks workshops in August, in CHOREA Theatre, group of 30 young people from the region of Lodz worked together on the remains of ancient Greek music and modern compositions referenced to antiquity and traditional European ethnic music.
In joint work we created a very energetic concert!
